Plan for the busiest part of the event
A four-hour family gathering and an all-day public event use facilities differently. Share expected attendance, the schedule, alcohol service and which permanent restrooms stay open. Meal breaks and intermissions can create queues even when attendance across the day looks manageable.
Use the event planning calculator to compare initial quantities, then review the mix of standard, flushing and accessible units with us. Add washing and a replenishment plan rather than treating sinks as an afterthought.
Corona event permits and the restroom layout
Corona distinguishes public events on public property, private facility reservations and public events on private property. Its special-event guidance includes a restroom plan in the site plan. Check the City’s current process and lead time for your event category before committing to dates or equipment placement.
Keep the venue’s requirements separate from a comfort-planning estimate. Submit the actual equipment positions, accessible routes and service approach for review. For an event in another city, use the local resource linked from its service-area page.

Food vendors need their own washing review
Riverside County Environmental Health provides temporary-event information for organizers and food vendors. A general guest sink is not automatically the correct food-handler setup. Explain the proposed food operation to the reviewing agency and identify approved washing arrangements separately from guest facilities.

Keep facilities visible and reachable
Leave space outside doors and avoid placing queues across accessible paths. For evening use, arrange lighting on the route. Consider whether one restroom cluster serves the whole layout or whether separate activity areas need their own facilities. Keep a service approach available after tents and barriers are in place.
Build collection into the event schedule
Tell us when the property opens to suppliers and when it must be clear. A weekend event may involve an earlier delivery or a later collection by arrangement. For multiple days, agree cleaning between sessions and who can provide access.
